About

York Town Organics is a small, certified organic market garden pioneered by Bruce and Clare Jackson almost three decades ago near Beaconsfield in northern Tasmania. All the family contributes — their son Ben returned to the farm in 2011 as operations manager. Today the farm grows a wide range of the freshest organic produce in Tasmania: micro salad, baby leaves, herbs and root crops, harvested to order and supplied to top restaurants and independent grocers. Shop small, shop local, eat fresh.

How to buy

  • Farmgate shop: 120 Bowens Road, York Town — Mon–Fri 10am–4pm, Sat 10am–2pm. Come buy direct from the farm.
  • Stockists: independent green grocers & fine-food stores across Tasmania, including Hill Street Grocer, Eumarrah, The Organic Grocery Store, Unpacked and many local IGAs (Northern & Southern Tas).
